Crystallizing Moments : vii.

I’ll wear the weight of the world,
bold in my mission,
staggering across the plain sight of the strong,
yet no hand offered.
Still, perseverance is key
and the door that I’m headed towards is that much more closer,
For each day without quitting
grants promise for a better tomorrow;
there is no rest for the weary
or cloth for the teary eyed,
but support for the accomplished far more prevalent,
A confusing notion.
No time to stop and understand because time, I fear,
is not on my side;
so I’ll drag on, adding the weight of my crumpled neighbors,
those whose carried for years, until the weight spurred paralysis.
Worry not, brethren,
for I’ve started an army
and we’ve prepared to fight this ongoing war
until our mission is complete
